What we fix and install

Repairs, replacements and new installs for houses, townhomes and condos.

A small bathroom with deep teal walls, a white pedestal sink and a round mirror
  • Leaks and burst pipes

Drips under the sink, a stain on the ceiling, a hiss in the wall. We find the source, repair it and test the line.

  • Drains and sewer lines

Slow sinks, backed-up tubs and main line clogs, cleared by cable or water jet. We run a camera when the cause isn't clear.

  • Water heaters

Tank and tankless, gas and electric. We repair, flush and replace them, and haul the old unit away.

  • Faucets, toilets and fixtures

Running toilets, dripping taps, new sinks and garbage disposals. Buy your own fixture or pick one with us.

  • Repiping

Old galvanized or failing lines replaced with copper or PEX. One run or the whole house, with the openings patched.

  • Valves and water pressure

Stuck shutoffs, banging pipes, weak or high pressure. We replace valves and set the regulator so the house runs quietly.

How a visit goes

  1. You call or send the form

Tell us what you're seeing. We give you a two-hour arrival window that suits your day.

  2. We text when we're on the way

You get a message about 30 minutes out, so you aren't waiting by the door.

  3. You see the price first

We find the cause, explain the fix in plain words and write down the price. Nothing starts until you say yes.

  4. We fix it and clean up

Drop cloths down, shoe covers on. We test the work, wipe up and show you what we did.

Water where it shouldn't be?

Do these three things, in this order.

  1. Shut off the water

Close the small valve under the fixture. If there isn't one, turn off the main shutoff where the water line enters the house.

  2. Keep power away from water

If water is close to outlets or the water heater, switch those circuits off at the breaker panel.

  3. Call our emergency line

Someone answers day and night. We'll talk you through the next steps while we drive over.

Common questions

Not covered here? Call (555) 555-0147 and ask.

How soon can you get here?

Most weekday calls get a visit the same day or the next morning. Emergencies go to the front of the line, day or night.

Will I know the price before you start?

Yes. We look at the problem first, then give you a written price. Nothing starts until you say yes.

Which areas do you cover?

Homes within about 30 miles of our shop. If you're just outside that, call and ask. We can often still help.

Do you work on tankless water heaters?

Yes. We service and replace tank and tankless heaters, gas and electric, and can help you pick the right one for your house.

Do I need to be home?

For the first visit, yes, or another adult. For longer jobs like a repipe, we can work out a key or lockbox with you.

Will you fix the wall after a leak?

We patch the openings we make to reach a pipe. Finished drywall and paint are best left to a painter, and we'll tell you what to ask for.

A sentence or two is plenty. For example: the kitchen sink drains slowly.
